Meet The Filmmakers at the Spring 2025 Trillvision Film Festival

TRILLVISION Film Festival is an innovative, digital film festival designed to bring together short filmmakers, critics, and audiences from around the globe. Taking place on March 29 & 30, 2025, the event exclusively showcases short films under 40 minutes across various genres. With a focus on diversity, inclusivity, and global accessibility, the festival features curated on demand film screenings and panel discussions. 

Film: A women cooks for her husband, who neglects her cooking. Torey Gerace, born on July 4, 1995 in Yorba Linda, California, USA, has an eye for artful and creative cinema. Since he was little, he always wanted to become a filmmaker and a freedom thinker in the independent film world. TAG Movie Productions, named after his full name (Torey Avram Gerace), is a place for all independent filmmakers young and old to come and build a community of like minded individuals. Film – Confessions: A serial killer reveals the dark secrets of her past crimes. 

Filmmaker: A first-time film-maker, Veronica Valenti is a passionate director whose work is influenced by theatrical compositions, blending expressive live performances with striking film storytelling. She has been immersed in theatre and film since 2016, drawing inspiration from artists like Peter Greenaway, Eugene O’Neill, and Steven Soderbergh. Film: Triggered 2.0: A diabolical madman known as The Director 2.0, with a vendetta against Wolverine, plots a way to take his powers and use him as a distraction as he enacts his ultimate means of destroying all superpowered beings, by pitting him against his one ally, Blade, in a fight to the death. Lucas Bishop must find a way to break free of his control so he can save his friends and the rest of humanity. 

Filmmaker: Born in Washington D.C. , Marcus Nel-Jamal Hamm emerged into the entertainment scene through the world of pro wrestling. Now an award winning actor and filmmaker, Marcus the CEO of Urban Renaissance Entertainment and has produced multiple award winning projects ranging from music videos to feature film.

SEE MORE PERSPECTIVE is an Hip Hop Artist, Producer/Composer, Spoken Word Poet, Visual Artist, Filmmaker, and Educator. Their work explores identity, culture, social justice, mythology, science fiction, spirituality, and the paranormal. Find SEE MORE in a cypher or a seance, on set of a locally filmed independent film, singing for strangers in a living room, projecting 3D projection installations, or sharing culture, tradition, and craft in a classroom.

Film: Swampling: Dark: Artist Kat Parent takes inspiration from the world of 80’s cult classic comic book lore with their own character; a researcher who is murdered by corporate interest when they discover the truth about what they’ve been doing to the MN wetlands. The researcher dies only to find death is just the beginning.

 

Andre Wynter is an accomplished filmmaker known for his distinctive visual storytelling and business acumen. With a career spanning over a decade, Andre has established himself as a dynamic force in the world of film and television as a visionary cinematographer, producer, writer, and director. 

Film: Silver Silhouettes: Zandria crafts a plan to deliver a plea letter to a Judge to grant her visitation rights with her children, as she tries to escape the control of Bad Tony.

Filmmaker: Angelo Studioso is an American filmmaker from the greater Seattle area. Angelo moved to Los Angeles in 2022 straight out of high school to pursue screenwriting and directing. He has since taken up producing, as the writer, director, or producer on various films and short films over the last few years. Angelo is interested in exploring themes of Grief, Sexuality, and togetherness through surliest and experimental filmmaking.

Film: INK! is a film where two best friends come in contact with an out of this world entity that will test the bond between the two of them.

Filmmaker: Ashley Glass is a mother of 3 beautiful girls and considers herself a Health Equity Catalyst and Creative.  Ashley has a deep love for leveraging resources and advocating for Mental and Maternal Health Services for the Black Community. Ashley is the National Health Equity Program Manager for Molina Healthcare and the non profit founder of Black Women Cultivating, a nonprofit focused on reducing the stigma related to Mental Health and Wellness in the Black Community. Ashley is also the Co-Director and Co-Producer of Breaking the Silence: A Black Nursing Documentary.

Film: Breaking the Silence: A Black Nursing Documentary – This documentary illuminates the invaluable contributions, resilience, and stories of Black nurses throughout history and in contemporary healthcare settings. Through powerful narratives, interviews, and historical context, this film showcases the often overlooked but pivotal role Black nurses have played in shaping healthcare, confronting adversity, and fostering inclusivity within the nursing profession.

Filmmaker: Diego Ramos is a Mexican filmmaker. His passion for film began ever since he watched the behind the scenes documentary for Jurassic Park as a child. He studied film and theatre at CSUF, where he met most of the crew he continues to work with to this day. He’s been writing, producing, and directing films ever since. 

Film: Rock of the Dead – A punk rock group bargains more than they ask for when their new gig at an old mysterious house goes wrong.

Producer: Timothy L. Conley, a retired professional athlete, is the owner and executive producer of 67 Entertainment—a new media, television, and film entertainment company. Timothy has produced ten films, including directing his most recent film, “N.ot W.ithout A.lonzo” (2024). He has three films currently making rounds at film festivals, including “Laiba” (2024) and “The Last Vial” (2011. In addition to filmmaking, Timothy is a college professor, currently teaching at California State University, Northridge, and Santa Monica College.

Film: The Last Vial: Hank and Maddie struggle to hide their identities as ‘zombies’ after humans believe they have eradicated the infected from the face of the Earth. However, they have run out of the serum that maintains their human-like appearance and Hank must go in search of more as government agents seek to unveil his true identity.

Film Laiba: Laiba is the story of a young Muslim American woman, ‘Laiba’ who is home visiting her parents on break from college. Her parents, who have modeled their approach to life after the modern American Civil Rights movement, find themselves challenged by Laiba’s news that she is asking for consent to marry a non-Muslim American man who is a classmate at Laiba’s college.

Filmmaker – Hannah Satterlee: I am first and foremost an actor, however, creating, directing, and starring in this film allowed me to blend my artistic passions into one vessel. I also get to share my love for Sylvia Plath’s work in a more immersive way. I hope people enjoy!

Film: Lady Lazarus: A haunting adaptation of Sylvia Plath’s iconic poem, exploring the inner turmoil of a woman caught in a cycle of self-destruction and survival. As her audience watches her every move, she slowly gains awareness of her own power.
